New Teen Titans #28-30 [1983]: Changeling captures Terra and brings her to Titans' Tower, where she claims that she has been committing crimes for terrorists who are holding her parents captive; Terra and the Titans confront her parents' supposed captors.
And my one big suggestion for Changeling was that I was not going to have his hair come onto the character, whatever creature he'd turned into, and the fact that we could have a green face on a regular body, I thought that was rather silly.

It is like DC has had a hugely popular and decent track record up till now, and I just hope they allow the film-makers to put a lot of heart and love into it, and not just want stuff cranked out for the sake of shelf space.
DC has decades upon decades of good stuff to translate to the animated form.

DC had the New Teen Titans, the JLA, and the JSA, and George Perez was filling me in all of them.
Plenty has changed in the DC Universe since Perez dissected it and reconstructed it with the help of his Titans collaborator, writer Marv Wolfman, in Crisis on Infinite Earths and History of the DC Universe, and I was anxious to see what he'd make of it now in the 21st century.
Something about the universe-shattering pace of this story encompassing the worlds of DC and Marvel makes sense as the next step up from what was produced back in 1985.

The series really conveyed the sense of camaraderie and friendship among the YJ members, that they were hanging out together not to “fight evil” or any nonsense like that, but because they all desperately needed companionship from people who understood just how weird their lives were.

Particularly memorable is Spock's mind-melding scene with Nomad, in which the Vulcan is shaken by the probe's chaotic memories of being captured and given destructive impulses.
Aside from this show's parallels to the Trek crew's first big-screen adventure, The Changeling features one of my all-time fave Trek moments: Nomad erases the mind of Uhura after taking a listen to her infernal caterwauling some tin-eared folks would call `singing'.
On a side note, DC comics published monthly adventures of Star Trek, including a three-issue sequel to this episode which was fun but also reminded me how much fun the show was.
