 | | I admit, I have a short fuse when it comes to dangerous driving, smoking with the windows rolled up, etc, but when it comes to directions, I’m pretty patient with the taxi drivers who aren’t quite sure where I want to go and will spend time explaining if need be. |
 | | I know where I’m going, we need to take Chaoyang Road!!!!!!!” It wasn’t just yelling like he thought I couldn’t hear or understand (which reminds me of another rant, “I’m not deaf, I’m foreign”), he was seriously pissed off that I’d have the nerve to suggest an alternate route. |
 | | I then said (calmly) that as far as I could remember, there were about the same number of traffic lights on Chaoyang Road and Chaoyang North Road, and that since Chaoyang Road was narrower and had a lot of traffic, it was definitely no quicker than Chaoyang North Road. |
