  Chapter Music - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Chapter Music is an Australian independent record label, founded by Guy Blackman in Perth in 1992 and relocated to Melbourne in 1995.
Chapter Music briefly shut down in 2002 when Guy Blackman relocated to Japan, though has since resumed operations, releasing new titles including a compilation of Japanese psych-pop.
Chapter Music has played host to a broad range of artists from all over Australia, in genres including rock and roll, indie pop, post punk, country and western and folk.

 Ashanti - Chapter II - Music Review
Chapter II is not to be blasted in the ride, the home, the club, or anywhere else where people may have to listen to it.
Anyway, after the first listen I was hoping that it would grow on me, but as I sit here writing this I'm listening for the fifth time, and I'm just finding more things that irk me about this record.
There are about seven unnecessary skits that have nothing to do with the music; instead they just mess up the flow.

I put out a fanzine called Chapter 24, named after a song written by Syd Barrett, who I was totally obsessed by at the time.
I did three issues between October 1990 and November 1991, ten photocopied pages each with little reviews, articles and interviews etc. The fourth issue was meant to come out with a compilation cassette of Perth bands.
That was the beginning of the vinyl era of Chapter Music.

I have now identified about 130 pieces of music and have been occupied in locating copies of the sheet music, describing the material, creating notation and MIDI files, scanning the music, researching copyright ownership, interviewing composers and consulting with musicologists.

The large Lodge room in the Edmonton Freemasons Hall was utilized because of the superior acoustics and organ.
A CD copy of the hymns sung to organ music was provided to all the Chapters at the 2003 Grand Convocation in Camrose, Alberta on May 9, 2003.
