your idea of chardi Kala is correct but your explanation was wrong.
It is because we do care that we chant Waheguru and we carry Guru in us that´s why we can fight so carefree and are relaxed even in stree situation.

Then again i'm reminded by the words of Siri Sahib,, " how can you expect welfare to all if you only serve a certain group, you can't chardi kala at all..."
I still can't understand why as sikhs of the Guru, still after 300 years we still can not serve others, we have the utlimate source wealth...

The statement of Baba Dhuma has made it clear that his predecessor, Baba Thakur Singh, who died about three months ago and had been telling the Sikh Panth that Sant Bhinderanwale was in ‘chardi kala’ (in high spirits) for the last 21 years.
However, Damdami Taksal chief said that Baba Thakur Singh might have concealed the death of Sant Bhinderanwale for the reasons best known to him.
