Charles Allen (born March 3, 1977 in Georgetown, Guyana) is a Canadian-Guyanese athlete specializing in hurdling, but also a sprinter.
Allen currently attends Clemson University in South Carolina where he is working on a masters in education.
As a hurdler he is known for knocking down the majority of the hurdles during his sprint.

Allen was a member of Clemson’s then-all-time fastest 4x100m relay team that recorded a time of 38.92 at the NCAA Championships in 1997.
Allen was also a member of the 4x100m team that won the prestigious Jamaican Relays in 1998 with a time of 39.94.

And before you say Allen just had a bad run, I saw him in an earlier qualifying heat knock over the majority of hurdles as well, but winning the race.
Shame on you Charles, shame on you… There should be a rule if you knock over 2 or 3 hurdles, you get your ass disqualified from the event.

During that season at Minnesota, Charles had a career-best 17 points vs. Temple as the Golden Gophers went 31-4 and made it to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
