Charles Arnold-Baker is the second son of Professor Baron Albrecht Werner von Blumenthal (10 August 1889, Staffelde, by Stettin, Prussia - 28 March 1945, Marburg an der Lahn), of Gross Schloenwitz by Stolp, Pomerania, by his first wife, an English lady, Alice Wilhelmine, née Hainsworth (1883 - 1978).
Charles Arnold-Baker was called to the Bar in 1948, and practised in the Admiralty Division until 1952.

A native of Canada, Arnold had come to Buffalo as a young man. His interest in photography developed during a stint as a traveling salesman after the Civil war.
Arnold reprised this role eight years later at the Pan-Am, exhaustively documenting its construction and physical setting as well as poking his lens into less formal nooks and crannies.
Arnold died in Buffalo at the age of 83 in 1927.

Charles Presley Arnold was born on August 9th, 1947, in the Salvation Army Hospital for Unwed Mothers, Washington DC.
After leaving the army, in 1971, Charles tried his hand at several jobs, including being a commercial barn painter, training horses and teaching riders, working as a secretary, driving trucks, and owning both an art gallery and a games store.
The court ruled in his favour, supporting Wicca as a religion in its own right, and, in December 1987, for the first time and as a result of this case, Wicca was legally recognized as a religion in Canada.

There has been a lot of argument over exactly what was accomplished in Arnold vs. Humber College and all I know is what my lawyer, the press and several members of the Ontario Legislature told me as to what was accomplished.
