Besides the children mentioned above, apparently he left two other sons, Robert and Charles, or three sons in all.
Sarah born 1635 in Wiltshire England died 1668, was the daughter of Gabriel and Phillis Ludlow.

Later papers are those of Logan's daughter, chiefly about her father's career, with letters and a biographical sketch of his friend, Charles Woodward Hutson, teacher and painter.
Logan, a native of South Carolina, was a Confederate officer and later a lawyer and railroad executive of Richmond, Va. He married Kate Virginia Cox, daughter of James H. Cox of Chesterfield County, Va., in 1865.
Among the postwar papers are scattered correspondence of the Cox and Logan families and letters to Logan from business and former Confederate associates.

Charles LOGAN followed Thomas in 1870 or 1871 to Portage la Prairie, and the two brothers built a flour-mill in the west end of the town, operating it for a year and a half, and then selling out to the late Billy Smith.
Thomas LOGAN came to Manitoba in 1868 from Aurora, Ont., via St. Paul and the Red River to Fort Garry, arriving in Portage la Prairie in 1869.
Thomas LOGAN - apparently he built a number of houses and other buildings in Portage la Prairie and vicinity including Grace Methodist Church - the church presented him with the large family bible for his services as superintendent of the Sunday school.

A gift from the publishing firm of Charles Scribner’s Sons on its Centenary in 1946 to the University on its Bicentenary in that same year provided funds for a room in Firestone Library.
