 | | Charles Ramsey, whose grandfather, tradition says, fought on the Protestant side of the battle of Boyne, 1690, came to Pennsylvania about 1770, and lived several years with David Watt, of New London. |
 | | He was married Nov 7, 1776 to Rebecca Scott, and thus came into possession of land now the western part of Lumberville, Cecil Co, Md. From thence he moved in 1800 to property now in possession of his grandson, of the same name, in Elk twp, below "Spring Lawn" paper mill, where he died. |
