 Chattahoochee Co
Chattahoochee is bordered by the Georgia counties of Muscogee, Talbot, Marion and Stewart, and the Alabama county of Russell.
As a result, most of the Chattahoochee County land occupied by the Culpeppers in the early 20th century was taken over for military use.
In 1918, Fort Benning was established in the western part of Chattahoochee county, and over the ensuing years, it has grown such that the military reservation today encompasses about 70% of Chattahoochee County as well as 30% of neighboring Muscogee County.

Chattahoochee National Forest - Lands at Risk - Wildlands - Sierra Club
These days, while exploring through Kelly Ridge and Mountaintown in the Chattahoochee National Forest, snapping pictures of the wildlife and the untouched land, one might want to buy extra film as the threats to this natural wonder are being heightened by Bush administration policies.
At only a few miles away from roads and phones, Kelly Ridge in the Chattahoochee National Forest is an exemplary and accessible part of the Appalachian Trail where one can hike the entirety of the ridge with family and friends.
After the draft forest management plan for Georgia’s National Forests was released in March 2003, citizens used a public comment period to speak out against the draft and in support of plan revisions to protect these unique areas.

Amazon.com: DVD: The Long Riders (1980)
The film is set shortly after the American Civil War, and follows the exploits of the James/Younger gang, comprised of Jesse (James Keach) and Frank (Stacy Keach) James, Cole (David Carradine), Jim (Keith Carradine), and Bob (Robert Carradine) Younger, and Ed (Dennis Quaid) and Clell (Randy Quaid) Miller (whew!).
Hill, working with an evocative Ry Cooder score, creates a film that is at once breathtakingly exciting and elegiac in its treatment of these post-Civil War outlaws.
Don't get me wrong, this is still a pretty good film, but it could have been better.

 Nil By Mouth: Gary Oldman
More recently, Oldman appeared as the Reverend Dimmesdale in "The Scarlett Letter" and as a sadistic warden of Alcatraz in "Murder in the First." Oldman was also featured in "Basquiat" as Albert Milo, one of the few fictional characters in the film bio of the artist Jean-Michele Basquiat, directed by Julian Schnabel.
Martin Campbell's hit psychological thriller, "Criminal Law," cast Oldman as an American Attorney embroiled in a cat-and-mouse game, for which adopted a seamless US accent -- a skill also put to good use in "Chattahoochee" and in Phil Joanou's "State of Grace," both in 1990.
That same year, Oldman starred as Rosencrantz in Tom Stoppard's film adaptation of his play "Rozencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead."
