The Battle of Chekiang-Kiangsi refers to a campaign by the Japanese Imperial Army and Chinese puppet forces in the Chinese provinces of Chekiang and Kiangsi in 1942.
Because the raid had to be launched earlier than planned, most of the aircraft ran out of fuel and crash-landed in the Chinese provinces of Chekiang and Kiangsi.
When the Japanese troops moved out of the Chekiang and Kiangsi areas in mid-August, they left behind a scene of devastation and death.
