The 2001/2 season celebrated Psappha’s 10th Anniversary with concerts at The Warehouse in London, the RNCM in Manchester, Liverpool Hope College, Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival and The Lowry in Salford.
The English Tour of Mr Emmet Takes a Walk visited the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival, the Lyric Theatre in Hammersmith, Oxford Playhouse and The Lowry.

“Though neon-lit names such as Michael Brecker and Dave Douglas inevitably hijacked attention on the Saturday bill at the Cheltenham jazz festival, it was a heartening day right across the board.
Where such wrongheaded faith in their abilities comes from is a mystery, although it could be the uncritical backslapping common in a particular section of the jazz world, or worse from a snobbish supposition that making music with all the impact of a knitting pattern is a passport to artistic credibility.

Stephen Lambe was pleasantly surprised by his first ever visit to the Greenbelt Festival, which took place at Cheltenham Racecourse 27th-29th August 2005.
Of course, that is not the point of Greenbelt, the annual festival celebrating all that is Christian.
It really is a very friendly, a festival for all ages, and the religious aspects are distinctly non-threatening.

He has appeared as guest artist at International music festivals in Cheltenham, England, the European Cultural Months, the International Chamber Music Festival in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, the Czech Festival in Trento, Italy, and the Sofia Musical Weeks.
He was a student of A. Hadjiatanasov and Vladimir Avramov, and during that time won the highest national awards offered in Bulgaria: 1st prize in the National Instrumental Competition, 1st prize in the Svetoslav Obretenov National Competition, and a Gold Medal in the Katia Popova International Music Festival.
His unusual talent was noticed quickly and he was chosen as a student and given a full scholarship for the Plovdiv Music School, where he graduated at the top of his performance class in 1973 as a pupil of Elena Doikova.

During this time he had a large Brass piece Guildhall Chambers premiered at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, a concerto for Euphonium Lineplayed by the principal of the Black Dyke Mills Band at the RNCM and part of a string quartet Music Book played by the world famous Lindsay String Quartet.
