Mr Dayanidhi Maran, son of late Union Minister “Murasoli” Maran and grand-nephew of DMK president M Karunanidhi, on Saturday filed his nomination for the Central Chennai Lok Sabha constituency in the presence of an array of party seniors.
Dayanidhi Maran has filed his nomination from the Central Chennai Lok Sabha seat, once held by Murasoli Maran.
Mr Maran was accompanied by his wife and other family members, besides Mr Veerasamy, Mr Stalin and former Union Minister and south Chennai DMK candidate T R Baalu, among others.
