Chester John "Chet" Culver (born 1965) is the current Secretary of State in the U.S. state of Iowa and a candidate for the Democratic nomination for Governor of Iowa in 2006.
Culver's main opponents for the Democratic nomination are former director of the Iowa Department of Economic Development Mike Blouin and seven term State Representative Ed Fallon.
Culver has drawn some criticism in the form of an internet blog entitled "chetnotstupid." The parody blog plays up the perception that Culver may not be the most intelligent candidate for governor.
