		Cheung Ching Estate (長青邨) is a public housing estate on Tsing Yi Island of the New Territories of Hong Kong.
		In 1977, Ching Wai House, Ching Yung House, and Ching Kwai House is first intake of residents from redevelopment of Kowloon and Hong Kong Island, and later Ching Chung House, Ching Pak House, Ching Mui House and Ching Yeung House.
		In the early 80s, Ching Tao House was built for the relocation of residents owing to reclamation of Tsing Yi Tong and Mun Tsai Tong.

		It is reported that in a recent fire incident at a unit in Ching Yung House of Cheung Ching Estate in Tsing Yi, as maintenance works for the fire service pump of the building were underway, the fire alarms and other fire service installations and equipment could not function.
		The design of fire services installations in about 200 public housing blocks is similar to that of Ching Yung House in Cheung Ching Estate.
		In case the fire alarm system is shut down for maintenance, tenants will be advised to be on the alert for possible outbreak of fire during the maintenance period.

		Question: It is learnt that there have been frequent disruptions in the supply of sea water for flushing toilets to a number of public housing estates in Kwai Chung and Tsing Yi districts over the past eight years.
		In Cheung Hang and Cheung Ching Estates, renewal and addition of water leakage check meters and underground gate valves, and replacement of cast iron pumps with stainless steel pumps have just been completed.
		The Housing Department is also carrying out system improvement works involving the relocation of supply pipes in Shek Lei Estate and the installation of separate pipes and pumps in Tai Wo Hau Estate.

		In terms of dioxin emissions at the stack, the monthly average level recorded from January to July ranged from zero to 0.0009 nanogram per cubic metre, well below the control limit of 0.1 nanogram per cubic metre.
		Dioxins in the ambient air are also monitored at Cheung Ching Estate on Tsing Yi.
		The monthly average concentration of ambient dioxins at Cheung Ching Estate was 0.038 picogram per cubic metre in July.
