		Cheung Sha Wan (長沙灣) is an area between Lai Chi Kok and Sham Shui Po in New Kowloon, Hong Kong.
		Cheung Sha Wan was a manufacturing centre after the war, with a number of light industries, especially textile and clothing.
		The bay of Cheung Sha Wan was reclaimed in several phases in the 20th century.

		Lower Cheung Sha Beach is one of the nicest beaches in Hong Kong, with a long stretch of clean white sand, and it is usually much less crowded than other beaches.
		My friend Mel took me to the Stoep for lunch one day and I was smitten…the owner is South African and the food served is "South African and Meditteranean Cuisine".
