Younger versions of cartoon characters - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
An earlier example of a younger version of an existing cartoon character, however, would be Superboy, who was introduced in 1944's More Fun Comics #101 as the teenage version of Superman; Superboy would eventually be seen in an animated series in the 1960s.
In 1992, the child versions of the Ultraman characters appeared in a second TV series that was slightly more action-oriented.
A newer version of Superboy exists in the current Superman comics, but this version is merely a younger clone of Superman.

There is often a temptation to overburden the child with toys that are beyond the child’s stage of development, or to concentrate on toys that stretch the child’s skills.
These guidelines and recognition of the skill, cognitive ability or emotion the toy is designed to develop are important to the success of the toy in helping your youngster develop normally through each succeeding stage of his or her childhood. Finally, one of the most important aspects in selecting and using educational toys is you.
