		In the last eight or so years, Children Of Bodom that darted to international fame with their debut, 1997’s "Something Wild", has gone from being "this amazing band from Finland" to a household name in the metalscene.

		CoB seems to have abandoned the power metal sound of their earlier work to a degree (not that you can easily define CoB's sound but I guess power metal comes close) and adopted a style thats closer to thrash.
		Children of Bodom are basically melodic death metal combined with thrash and combined with power metal but what makes this band special is their sense of humour which is new to the genre.
		If you've never experienced Children of Bodom before, there is no better album to start on than Hatebreeder; if you have already heard Bodom's work before, than you can't afford to form any opinion--good or bad--before listening to this, the pinnacle of their career thus far.

		Children Of Bodom had to cancel their gig at the Polish Hunterfest in Szczytno.
		Many COBHC fans complained that Children Of Bodom didn't show up on a promoted gig in Saskatoon, Canada on July 10th which was never officially confirmed by the band or their booking agency.

		Boosting an excellent sound & packaging, Children of Bodom comes straight at you right from the opening beat with an exciting blast of interesting Rock N Roll.
		As a debut I guess this is really an excellent album & fans like myself would most certainly be looking to watch either Children of Bodom live or catch their next album be it on LP, CD or cassette.
		Perhaps the only drawback to such an excellent album, would be the short playing time (32 minutes), but bear in mind, most good things most certainly don't last very long.
