Termas de Chillan is as famous for its many hot springs as for its skiing.
Chillan probably gets more snow than any other southern hemisphere resort and after the snow drought I had been experiencing I was anxious to turn those Mt. Surf skis loose on some freshies.

In the South it was supposed to rain for the next 4 days or so and the weather improved the further north we got.
When we made it to Chillan after an 11 hour fairly comfortable bus ride it was overcast but not raining and the temperature was summer like.
After a very relaxing time in Chillan we finally took the train back to Santiago for our final 3 days in South America.

Termas de Chillan is a great place to find powder in July and firts week from August, have a amazing slope...Pîrigallo and you only need 20 min to walk to find this slopes...and the Nevados, that is a Mountain out from the resort but you can go and back direct from the resort......
The only problem are the lift and that are to old...
In this moment chillan have a great powder in juni!!!!
