By the third Mushroom release in 1979 ('Breakdown In Paradise') Chilliwack was only Bill Henderson and Brian MacLeod and featured a complete line-up change with the addition of Ab Bryant (bass), Rick Taylor (drums) and John Roles (guitar).
With the bankruptcy of Mushroom Records, Chilliwack moved homebase to Solid Gold Records and lost Rick Taylor and John Roles in the process.

The Chilliwack Lake area was first explored by European people in 1855 when the Hudson’s Bay Company upgraded an already existing Indian trail, joining nine Indian villages between Vedder Crossing and Chilliwack Lake.
In 1942 an army base was established in Chilliwack and a visiting British company of military engineers built Sappers Park at the south end of Chilliwack Lake.
The beach at Paleface Creek on Chilliwack Lake is an ideal staging area, and windsurfers love the winds that are almost guaranteed to blow across the lake daily.

Singer-guitarist Bill Henderson has led his near-legendary rock band Chilliwack through a lot of changes in musical tastes - not to mention fashions and hairstyles - since its formation in the 1970s.
A couple of years ago, Chilliwack received two Classics awards from SOCAN - the Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada - acknowledging more than 100,000 radio plays in Canada of "Crazy Talk" and "California Girl", the respective singles from those two albums.
As well as carrying on Chilliwack's rock legacy, the two Hendersons are finishing choral arrangements for half a dozen old Chilliwack songs, which will be performed by massed children's and youth choirs at the University of Victoria Auditorium on March 4.
