		With the release of his impressive homemade demo tape, multifaceted Andy Tanas (he plays or programs almost every sound on the demo) emerges from the analog 8-track cassette beast's lair victorious, having tamed the monster skillfully.
		As is often the case on his demo, simplicity serves him well on the moving "Crying Angel," a bullseye-of-a-song about young lovers and the healing power of nocturnal car rides down Dixie backroads -- you can almost smell the night.
		I'm sure he worked long and hard on this tape (which is available at several record stores around town), and I think he can wear his (home) studio tan proudly.

		Most tracks end about 30 seconds before the official CD time, where some obscure training film, crate-dug loop, or a random bit of track gets slapped in briefly before being kibbled into the next number.

		Looking at some of the closeups of those tapes and I'm wondering if they were recorded on a BI machine because they're all L-750 but a lot of the movies are on two tapes (a lot of part 1 & 2s).
		The general consensus is that tape type head cleaners are really bad for video head and that you should use a foam padded swab (not cotton) dipped in alcohol to clean heads.
		Like a lot of old videotapes the first few feet of tape are in bad shape (the part that takes most of the strain of loading tends to go bad first) but the rest of the movie was in OK shape.

		Entitled ‘Warmer Corners’ (matcd039) it’s the seventh studio album from Australia’s hardest-working band and follow-up to the excellent ‘Naturaliste’ album from 2003.
		Album tracks “Tout Va Bien,” “Wells Street” and “A Short Film About Sleeping” are now playing on the sounds page, and the CD is available from the Matinée mailorder and all good shops now.

		The White Noise set up their own studio, which they dubbed Keleidophon and painstakingly assembled all of the tracks using primitive synths and hundreds of overdubs and tape-splices.
		It has a bit of a "narrative" about a bloke who goes to visit his girlfriend, but who is killed on his motorcycle before reaching his destination.
		There's quite a few at the page..mostly their radio shows and a lot of their ISDN "concerts" that would be down-loaded to radio stations or internet cafes.

		The list / street price of the standard ASC is $645 / $445.
		HOwever, I basically decided that a Rhodes piano and NS10's (I traded) were a far better addition to my studio, as I wasn't using the outboard gear so much any more.
		THe SPeck's are certainly high end gear and I agree with Kurt that you will most likely be satisfied for the long term with your purchase.

		Since this concert actually was taped at a recording studio (the Plant in Saucalito), I hope it's Arista's intentions to release some of this stuff either as b-sides or even better a "mailing list only" full length cd....

		The view from the room faces east onto a fairly quiet neighborhood street so that I can hear and watch the kids as they go to school as well as the rest of the neighborhood's daily activities.
		At work, the desk is large but there is the same type of clutter with cassette tapes for classes replacing many of the computer disks.
		I live across the street from a small Catholic church and right now I can hear the organ music for the end of the service (it's Sunday morning).

		Others here can chime in with some other specific models and their specs.
		You won't get help there like you'll get here and at the AVS forum, but their is a lot of technical data, some white papers on the different technoligies, street prices on projectors, and charts showing the popularity of projectors.
		Just make sure you can try to demo each unit as some people are sensitive to the Rainbow effect (in DLP) or the screendoor effect(in LCD).
