		In western music, china type cymbals are cymbals deliberately manufactured to have a "trashy" tone in some ways similar to a chau gong.
		China cymbals are those whose sounds are derived from the Chinese, rather than the Turkish, tradition of cymbal making.
		China type cymbals are available in a wide range of sizes from 27" down to 6", most types singly but some in pairs.

		I'm a big fan of the 18 inch china low boy it is from the a series and has a great cutting crash that isnt to brash with warmer overtones than most chinas.
		If you want a great china cymbal, get a Wuhan, they sound great, and they are way cheaper than a zildjian or a sabian.
		Keeping in mind that Chinas are by their nature difficult to make exactly the same every time, I was still surprised that between two there was an entire half step difference in the basic note.
