The fact that China qualified for the final competition of a FIFA World Cup™ for the first time in 2002 is testimony to the progress that Chinese football has made in recent years.
Football has long been the most popular sport throughout the country.
In collaboration with the Development Office in Kuala Lumpur, the Chinese FA submitted plans for a project to build association headquarters, which the Goal Bureau approved at its meeting on 15 October 2003.
