A fatal accident investigation and a House of Lords select committee investigation have concluded that RAF chiefs were not justified in finding that pilot negligence caused the June 1994 crash, and the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland has also called for ministers to exonerate the pilots, flight lieutenants Jonathan Tapper and Richard Cook.
