| | The Osterley park inventory was drawn up by Israel Lewis, an upholsterer and William Linnell, brother of John; much of the State Room furniture for Osterley was designed by Adam and believed to have been made by John Linnell, who was also responsible for some of the designs. |
| | The Newby Hall inventories were made by Thomas Chippendale, who had supplied the furniture, and the sculptor Joseph Nollekens made an inventory of ‘all the statues, busts, vases, pedestals etc’. |
