The polders in Chittagong District are bounded on the west by the Bay of Bengal.
In Chittagong District, the Agricultural Lands in the area have been formed by piedmont alluvial deposits transported from the Chittagong Hills by local streams and rivers, some land were formed by beach and tidal flat deposits.
Either whole or parts of the districts of Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Sylhet and Chittagong are predominantly under the tidal influence throughout the year.

 About Bangladesh
With the exception of the Chittagong Hill Tracts District, portions of the Madhupur Tract, and the Sundarbans (a great tidal mangrove swamp in the southwestern corner of the country), few extensive forests remain in Bangladesh, the forested and wooded area amounting to about one-eighth of the total area.
The distribution of the population is relatively even, except in the sparsely populated Chittagong Hill Tracts District and the almost totally uninhabited Sundarbans.
The Sundarbans area is one of the principal remaining domains of the Bengal tiger, and herds of elephants and many leopards inhabit the Chittagong Hill Tracts District.

There are surface to near surface deposits of white clay in Bijoypur and Gopalpur area of Netrokona district, Nalitabari of Sherpur district, Haidgaon of Chittagong district and Baitul Izzat of Satkania thana, Chittagong district.
The subsurface deposit of white clay was first discovered at Patnitala of Naogaon district in 1965 at the depths ranging from 340m to 350m while drilling for economic minerals in the area by GSP.
The white clay at Barapukuria of Dinajpur district was discovered by the GSB in 1985 while drilling for coal in the area.

A magistrate of Gazipur district court prepared the inquest report and sent the body to Gazipur hospital morgue for post-mortem in the afternoon, after which the body was handed over to the relatives in the evening and the body was buried amid tight security of police.
But it is fair to say that a disservice has been done to the rule of law by his life being cut short without subjecting him to the due process of law.
