We got Chloe and made it home in one piece, though I can't remember a time when I was so sleepy while driving, not usually a problem for me. The kids have alternated between running around with Lola in the backyard and watching Dora the Explora and Sesame Street ever since.
I know Chloe is capable of saying her name, she makes the sounds in her name all the time in other words, and her teachers tell me she has said her name at school on occasion.
We were driving to get Chloe and I was talking to Catherine on the cell and raised the possibility, and Ella heard me and begged to come to school with me tomorrow.

I love it when there is that zoom in on the guy whose face has been eaten away, further used when token fl girl's friend is also melted down but with the added shock effect of her reaction and his desperate pleas for help.
The Dalek mutant clings vampirically from a soldier's neck, Chloe Anlett is shot in the back and a tramp and a gold-seeking fool are both killed despite having no relevance on the proceedings whatsoever.

The acting was pretty awful, with Rula Lenska (Styles), Jim Findley (Mercer), Del Henney (Colonel Archer), Philip McGough (Sergeant Calder), Sneh Gupta (Osborne) and John Adams (Crewmember - check the Radio Times if you don't believe me) all vying with each other as to who could emphasize exactly the wrong words in every sentence.
Worst of all was the truly abysmal Chloe Ashcroft as Professor Laird.
He wasn't very good, but he had a certain style (rather like a large, friendly dog) that quite enamoured me to him.
