There are 3 tracks that run through the station, with platforms 2 and 3 sharing the third track that is located in the middle of the station.
The third track is primarily used as a siding, and it leads to the Kowloon Bay MTR depot, located just east of Choi Hung station.

I think that the minibus to Choi Hung is the easiest way to the MTR, then Hong Kong is open to easy access.
There are direct minibuses from Sai Kung to Choi Hung MTR and Mongkok.
The only thing is that you will have to take a boat ride to Central daily (or you can take the bus and transport to the MTR station).
