Chokhmah ("Wisdom"; חכמה) (or chochmah or hokhmah) in the Kabbalah of Judaism, is the uppermost of the Sephirot of the right line (kav yamin which is also the "Pillar of Mercy").
Chokhmah and Binah have a special relationship, and together are associated with the range of the dimension of time.
Chokhmah is the first of the immanent or in-dwelling sefirot and is therefore is called "the beginning," as in the verse reishit chokmah (Psalms 111:10) -- "Chokmah is the first," -- the first of the immanent sefirot.

There is, and this is the point where Kabbalah tackles > the interesting problem of thee and me. I must disagree that the Kabbalah represents a non-sexist cosmology.
In the Kabbalah, women are given the characteristics of Binah which is understanding and intelligence, and Malkuth which is translated as kingdom in the physical world.
