		Despite the neat packaging, it is difficult to consume a cholado without dripping condensed milk all over your clothes, so I usually take mine home and center it on a plate (see left).
		There's an excellent cholado to be had on 37th Ave, at the Aquí Colombia bakery and café.
		The pastries at this place look deadly, but the cholado is spot-on, with chunks of mango snuggled between slivers of pinneapple.

		Ice is a product of the 20th century (in the tropics !) so I would dare to say that the common Cholado should be a fairly recent invention, dating back to the 1950´s or so.
		I´ve seen Cholados sold in the streets of Cartagena and Medellin, but the place where you can see a lot of street posts selling Cholados is Cali.
