Bird flu had been identified in 41 of Thailand's 76 provinces by October 22, more than at the start of the month, according to a statement from the country's bird flu centre.
CHON BURI - The 60 tigers at Sri Racha Tiger Zoo that are currently being treated for bird flu will be culled unless they can be cured, local officials said yesterday.
Chon Buri Governor Pisit Ketphasuk told a press conference at the Provincial Hall yesterday that the tigers were being given medicine designed to specifically treat avian influenza.
