	Chris Davies - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
		Christopher Graham Chris Davies (born 7 July 1954 in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire) is a Liberal Democrat politician in the United Kingdom.
		He won a parliamentary by-election in 1995 to the Littleborough and Saddleworth constituency to replace the deceased Geoffrey Dickens and served as an MP for two years, losing the successor seat of Oldham East and Saddleworth at the 1997 general election.
		On January 6, 2006, amid the Liberal Democrats leadership crisis, Davies described Charles Kennedy as a "dead man walking" at the time when Kennedy was refusing to resign.
