Get Ready to ROCK! Interview with Chris Goss of US metal rock band Masters Of Reality
Chris: Oh man, there are too many...I have fun with most of the records I do, when there’s isn’t any fun involved then I don’t even want to mention them.
Chris: For exactly the reason that was my major regret, was not touring after Ginger left the band.
Chris: One of the things the wisdom of age brings is to have other interests.

Goss' voice may trip a few memories, but it is drummer Vinnie Ludovico's shifting backbeat that certifies Masters of Reality as disciples of a better generation of hard rock.
Goss is a ripping guitarist, yet his riffs and solos, including the cock-rock screamer he uncorks in 'She Got Me', always thrive on a few hummable notes.
Chris Goss - MOR's erstwhile leader and famed producer (QOTSA, Kyuss, Screaming Trees) leads the troupe of John Leamy (drums) and guest appearances by Josh Homme, Mark Lanegan and A Perfect Circle's Troy Van Leeuwen, to name but a few - through an album that begs to be heard.

The band is part of the "Palm Desert Scene", which includes Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age and many other stoner rock or (as they prefer to call it) desert rock bands.
Goss' connection to Queens of the Stone Age resulted in the collaborative CD Deep in the Hole in 2001, and two years later, in the release of the subsequent live album Flak 'n' Flight.
Besides his involvement with this "project", frontman Chris Goss is also a very important producer (Kyuss, Soulwax, Melissa Auf der Maur, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster etc.) and has contributed to many other bands in the Palm Desert Scene and beyond.

Goss was reckless in his selection of sailing goals or preparation.
I believe Pete Goss is one of those rare individuals who has the courage and fortitude to dare to dream the impossible and to push the envelope to the limits.
It is that Pete Goss and his team should be congratulated not just in the sailing press but also amongst the British public and admired for their outstanding breakthrough in yacht design and PR.

BBC - collective - hospital records profile
In 1995, Tongue and Groove, the street soul label established by Tony Colman and Chris Goss as a “mini Talkin’ Loud”, was in poor health.
That was carried to its logical conclusion on their debut long-player Pull The Plug and, while Chris then left London Elektricity to focus on the label, Tony transformed the group into a full live band, resulting in 2003’s Billion Dollar Gravy LP and a UK and festival tour.
Chris, meanwhile, sought out acts from across the board for Hospital - signing the ethereal but energetic drum ‘n’ bass DJ High Contrast from Cardiff, and the two-step influenced bossa nova and breakbeats of Landslide, amongst others.

If it wasn't for their presence, you can imagine Goss being a little, well, resentful of the Queens' recent success: after all, he's been cranking out very similar weighty, purposeful and tuneful music since they were kids gathered round a generator in the desert.
Goss himself looks like a window cleaner-cum-off duty burglar and the frontline stand stock-still throughout, concentrating on the job in hand and occasionally exchanging nods in a mutual muso appreciation fest.
Goss and Homme's vocals mesh perfectly on the likes of 'John Brown' but there are also moments - very long, drawn-out moments - when they plod with the pace of an arthritic donkey or noodle away like Led Zeppelin at their overblown worst.
