With new bands like Interpol, The Bravery and The Killers reviving the sounds of the '80s on contemporary alternative radio, fans of classic New Wave were treated to the real deal Wednesday night at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix as Blondie and the New Cars both delivered sets of their greatest '80s-era hits.
The band, featuring three original members from the band's 1977-1982 heyday (guitarist Chris Stein, Harry and drummer Clem Burke), ripped through a greatest-hits set that had the three-quarters-full Dodge Theatre crowd dancing in the aisles and bunched up in front as Harry snagged such classics as "One Way Or Another," "The Tide is High,"
