	Overrated bass players [Archive] - TalkBass Forums
		11-27-2001, 11:57 AM correction- luckiest player has got to be Chris Joannu (spelling?) of Silverchair- straight from playing in the garage to playing arenas at 15yrs old.
		I can't say I've listened to much Silverchair stuff, but what I have heard sounds a bit too much like watered-down Nirvana, and the bass is just root-note hogging.
		I think that Chris Chaney is very overrated as well, I get sick of seeing adds with him all over.
