Chris Klein (born Frederick Christopher Klein on March 14, 1979 in Hinsdale, Illinois) is a United States actor best known for his roles in American Pie, Election, and Here on Earth.
As a senior in high school, Klein was offered his first professional acting job by director Alexander Payne, who was scouting Millard West High School as a potential filming location.
In the middle of 2003, Klein appeared on Punk'd after he was tricked by Ashton Kutcher into believing that his house had been seized by a terrorist.
