Chris Roberts once again turns over the airwaves to the people, in this case patrons at the Turf Club in St. Paul.
Chris also had music from Cave Deaths, Birthday Suits, Prof and Rahzwell, Dave Pirner, Erik Brandt of the Urban Hillbilly Quartet, and a Minneapolis singer songwriter by the name of Stook.
Chris takes a much-deserved break, the first show of the new year is brought to you by Local Show engineer Sam Keenan and his guest Molly Maher.

 The Twin/Tone Story
Charley's day job was writing about sports for St. Paul's daily paper The Pioneer Press but he also moonlighted as a rock critic and wanted to dabble further in the music biz.
To me, Chris Osgood (leader of The Commandos) is probably the most important rock person in Twin Cities music history.
He was a catalyst and he invented something; he made it cool to be a rocker AND a smart guy.

Tyler Arnason and Kyle Calder scored goals and Nikolai Khabibulin made 33 saves for the Blackhawks (3-8-0), who lost their third straight game.
