		Chris joined Newcastle in 1984 after working for five years in the Computing Studies Department at Hull University, and before that as a Research Assistant and Demonstrator in the Statistics and Computational Mathematics Department at Liverpool University, where he also gained his BSc, MSc and PhD.
		Chris' background is as a numerical analyst and this research interest has developed into the area of parallel numerical algorithms.
		Chris is a member of the Centre of Excellence in Teaching and Learning - Active Learning in Computing.

		Phillips, who announced in June of 1997 he would return to the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes and re-enter the draft in 1998 if his contractual demands weren't met, finally started the 1997-98 season in Ottawa where he recorded five goals and 16 points in 72 games.
		After one season with Prince Albert of the WHL, Phillips moved to Lethbridge in 1996-97 where he was voted the league's top defenceman, leading his team to the Memorial Cup finals.
		Phillips won the gold medal with Team Canada at the 1997 world junior championships.

		I don't see why not Chyqo, I think Chris' work was well accepted south of the border so I think it'll eventually go over there...
		I wouldn't see a reason why it wouldn't come out in the States...chris and Alexia were pretty huge in the States...they made it on to the Billboard Dance charts....
