Chris Sarandon (born July 24, 1942) is a Greek-American actor.
Sarandon's performance earned him two prestigious nominations (New Star of the Year - Male from the Golden Globes and a Academy Award (Best Supporting Actor), and by all indications, Sarandon was headed toward a bright future on the silver screen.
Despite his success, Sarandon was unable to gain mainstream American recognition for a starring role, though his performance as a Holocaust survivor in Forced March (1990) did not go unnoticed by critics.

She was a graduate of Edison High School in 1964, and then attended The Catholic University of America from 1964 to 1968 where she attained a BA in Drama.
In 1969, Susan went to a casting call for the film Joe with her then husband Chris Sarandon; although he did not get a part, she received the major role of the disaffected teen who disappears into the seedy underworld (the film was released in 1970).
In 1967 while in college, Susan met and married fellow student Chris Sarandon; They divorced in 1979 and she retained her married name as her stage name.

Sarandon played a juvenile court services director who cares too much in "Broken Promise" (CBS, 1981), was the Creature in CBS' 1986 version of Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein" and the gent Sidney Biddle Barrows toys with in "Mayflower Madam" (CBS, 1987).
