		Christ: The Album is Crass' fourth album, released in 1982.
		The album also included a book, A Series Of Shock Slogans and Mindless Token Tantrums (which featured Penny Rimbaud's essay The Last of the Hippies [1], telling the story of the suspicious death of his friend Wally Hope) and a large size poster painted by Gee Vaucher.
		The album took over a year to record, produce and mix, during which time the Falklands War had taken place.

		Well, it’s been two years since Blood Of Christ released As The Rain Gently Falls, which had such tracks as ‘Midnight Serenade’, ‘Covered In Mud’ and ‘The Swamp Song’, among many other awesome, and brutal tracks.
		I just received this album in the mail after some wait, having address changes and such isn’t all that good for receiving merchandise in a timely manner.
		I mean, spitting out a 74 minute Nickelback album is easy, it’s slow and repetitive to appease to the lesser, so a five minute song will consist of maybe three riffs.

		I think the highlight of this double album is the second live CD, for any Crass far this is a must hear, The energy off a crass gig mixed with the usual Crass soundbytes make this an unmissable album.
		This is what I would call a punk concept album, pretty much each track has a very bizzare and political intro, and some don´t even have singing...
		But don´t just burn this album from a friend, because the lyrics are really what makes this band awsome, their lyrics are very witty, angry, and ingenious...

		I saw a regional theatre performance of Jesus Christ Superstar the other night and was pretty impressed with the music and the fact that it's a real "rock opera" with screaming high notes and rock drums and guitars and everything.
		First I tried the original concept album which was a little hippie-ish for me and then I listened to the movie version which I wasn't terribly impressed with.
		I'm a huge fan of Jesus Christ Superstar, and I have heard many renditions, most of which have similar orchestrations with very few changes.

		If there is an album to be described as dark metal, it is this one in my opinion; and the good thing is, it is an album which can/will grow when you listen to it more often.
