The CHP ran in the last election, but through some reorganization, and people moving to the Alliance to try for a big push (Stockwell Day made it more attractive to Christians, at least in terms of his personal beliefs) they did not have enough candidates to get official party status.

The CHP's plan would retain the independence of the judiciary in matters of law and fact; but would make the courts accountable to Parliament for their obligation to be faithful to the Canadian Constitution.
The CHP plan is simply for Parliament to create a Standing Committee on the Judiciary, and arm it with the authority to review court decisions on the sole ground of their constitutionality.
But party discipline strangles them: MPs are told by the 'party whip' what to say and when to say it—and in today's climate of 'political correctness', Christian MPs in the other parties are simply not allowed to represent their deepest convictions.

Canada Election 2004 Voter Guide: Political Parties - Christian Heritage Party of Canada
The CHP does not suggest that Canada's government be comprised of clerics, and it does not suggest a departure from the practice of electing MPs to the House of Commons.
However, the CHP's policy in favour of government prohibition of such expressions, if acted upon, would arguably requires a CHP led Parliament to invoke the Charter of Rights and Freedoms' notwithstanding clause (section 33) to override Canadians' freedom of expression.
However, CHP is hardly alone in providing the electorate with a relatively secularized or toned-down election Platform in the face of a somewhat more dramatically worded statement of party Policies.
