		After having worked mainly in piano bars, Simard revived the group in 1987 with Lemay, Vallée, and Gilles Simard (drums).
		Simard has composed songs for Renée Martel and Patrick Norman, whom he accompanies on the LP Vodou Queen.

		Sister to René Simard, she has been associated to the latter's career since the beginning, and was noticed by the same producer, Guy Cloutier.
		In 1987, Nathalie Simard decided to exchange her public of children for a teen-age audience.

	Religious Intolerance :: Canadian Court Eliminates Bible Distribution Ministry (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-29)
		In a letter to the Bible Society dated May 7th, Judge Simard and Citizenship Registrar, Patricia Birkett, informed the Bible Society that notwithstanding a previous agreement with the Citizenship Commission, Bibles and other holy books are no longer to be displayed at citizenship court ceremonies and distributed to citizenship court applicants.
		A departmental spokesperson for Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), Jean-Pierre Morin, told Christian Week, "we have had, in the past, complaints from clients who felt that holy books were being forced upon them." He reportedly could not say when or how many complaints had been received.
		Nesbitt wrote to Judge Simard on May 19th, appealing to him to reconsider his decision, which had been arrived at with no prior consultation with the Bible Society.

		It would seem that the medium really is the message in this case, and this is, as the title says, Morse's Christian testimony to the world.
		There are artists who manage to put their spiritual message across without beating you over the head with it (the wonderful King's X spring to mind), but Morse doesn't appear to be one of them, so although the music isn't bad I have to say, approach with extreme caution.
		Mixing Genesis-style prog with a distinct French influence from their homeland, it consists of the classic 12-minute title track, with all the other songs being not only of 'regular' length, but also more straightforward, although still retaining a progressive edge.

		The announcement comes as controversy develops over a surplus has grown from mortgage insurance premiums collected by the Corporation.
		In the House of Commons on November 16th, Bloc Quebecois MP Christian Simard (Beauport-Limoilou) noted the CMHC surplus stood at $2.5 billion, and could grow to $6 billion by 2008.
