 Christian VI - Wikipedia

Christiansborg Palace - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It became therefore evident to Christian VI, Frederik IV's successor, immediately after his accession to the throne in 1730, that an entirely new castle had to be built.
By the time the palace was finished in 1828, King Frederik VI had decided he did not want to live there after all, and he only used the royal premises for entertainment.
King Christian VI was keen on architecture, and he commissioned a talented young architect in the King's building service, Nicolai Eigtved, to design the palace chapel (1738-42).

 Using the Third Use
The Christian in concreto must constantly examine his life in the light of the law so that he might be shown the difference between the things that God is working in him by grace, and the things that he himself is working according to the old Adam (SD VI 21).
It is not permissible to conclude that the Christian is free from the curse of the law because the accusing nature of the law is removed, "for the Law always accuses (lex semper accusat)" (Ap IV 38).
Since the Christian is free from the curse of the law and since the same Christian is bound to exercise the law, it is supposed that there must exist a form of law preaching that does not curse or coerce the Christian.

 H. Orton Wiley: Christian Theology - Chapter 6   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-31)
Christian Theology is based upon the revelation of God in Christ, the record of which, in both its preliminary and its perfect stages, is given in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments.
We have no other Christian religion than that which is one with its document and records; we have no documents and records which do not directly pay their tribute to the Christian Religion; and there is no revelation in any department of truth of which the same may be said.
Christianity answers as a credential of revelation, in that it is the explanation of all the preparatory disclosures, and the consummation of them all.

The Frigate Falster and Danish Frigate Design to 1746
In contrast to Danish frigate building practices up to 1746, during the reign of Christian VI the Danish navy finally began to build Danish battleships to the same design on a regular basis with, typically, a minimum of two sister ships being built to the same draught.
However, the other five Danish frigates built during the reign (1730-1746) of King Christian VI were only armed with between 16 and 30 cannon, ranging in caliber between 4 and 8 pounds, that is, with significantly lighter caliber weapons than the 18 pounder cannon employed in Falster's main battery.
However, the 40-gun Falster was equipped with fewer cannon than were the smallest, 50-gun Danish battleships built during Christian VI's reign, and this fact is what probably consigned Falster to be classified by the Danes as a frigate.

Pope Paul VI proposes three remedies to the pervasive lack of natural joy in today’s world—remedies that are as timely now as they were three decades ago.
This participation in divine joy, which begins on earth, “requires a total confidence in the Father and in the Son, and a preference given to the kingdom.” Christian joy is “a steep road” that begins with the Beatitudes, is assisted by frequent Confession, and is ever illumined by the Crucifixion and Resurrection.
Christians suffer as they trod, but “in the joyful announcement of the resurrection, even man’s suffering finds itself transformed, while the fullness of joy springs from the victory of the Crucified, from His pierced heart and His glorified body.
