 DEBATE:Is or was King's X a christian band?
From what I've read, it was the producer of the first few albums that made King's X a Christian band but they didn't want to be labelled as that and it ended up turning ugly between the band and that guy.
King's X has long been identified as, accused of being, and mistakenly assumed to be, a Christian band singing the praises of (evangelical) Christianity.
Christian record labels tried early on to "control" the band, and though KX could have gone along with that and garnered quicker success, it would not have been an honest move.
