  Christian Traditions
There are so many wonderful Christian Traditions which have been either forgotten or ignored to the detriment of all peoples.
Christians have an obligation to Jesus to attempt to govern their lives as He would wish.
Please feel free to submit other examples of Christians who are tragically not in accord with the traditions of forgiveness, kindness, stewardship, generosity, love and peacemaking as well as any of the other examples of Christ's great works while serving his Father on Earth.

Christian eschatology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Christian eschatology concerns the afterlife, the return of Jesus, the End of the World, resurrection of the dead, the Last Judgment, renewal of creation, Heaven and Hell, and the consummation of all of God's purposes, the fulfillment of Messianic prophecy.
Christian churches such as the Catholic Church that accept the Deuterocanonical books as part of the Old Testament point to the second book of Maccabees as Old Testament justification for the belief in an afterlife.
From a Christian point of view, this aforementioned proposed denial of the possibility of afterlife may be interpreted in a different manner: One might see it as a distinction between the "dead" and the "resurrected dead" rather than a denial of the afterlife.

Christian worship - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Many Christian theologians have defined humanity as homo adorans, that is, the "worshipping man," and thus the worship of God is at the very core of what it means to be human.
Thus, unity in Christian worship was understood to be a fulfilment of Jesus' words that the time was at hand when true worshippers would worship "in spirit and in truth" (John 4:23).
In virtually all Christian traditions this regular public worship is complemented by other forms of worship, such as individual meditation, prayer and study; small group prayer (often linked with Bible study); and formal ceremonies on special occasions, including weddings, funerals and events of Church or state.

Indulgence - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A partial indulgence is granted to the Christian faithful who devoutly sign themselves with the cross while saying the customary formula: "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
There are some Protestant traditions which might seem similar to the Catholic practice of indulgences however, such as many televangelists who tell their viewers that their donations to the organization will "multiply" after they have donated to the network or other church sponsored project.
Those traditions which reject a Catholic concept of Purgatory (or alternatively, a “condition of waiting”) also reject indulgences, as there is no need for remission of temporal punishment where no temporal punishment exists.

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Tradition and Living Magisterium
In the first sense it is an old tradition that Jesus Christ was born on 25 December, in the second sense tradition relates that on the road to Calvary a pious woman wiped the face of Jesus.
They came eventually, after rejecting the Divine tradition received from the Apostles by the infallible Church, to rest their faith in the Bible only as a human authority, which moreover was especially insufficient under the circumstances, since it opened up all manner of doubts and prepared the way for Biblical rationalism.
There is a formula current in Christian teaching (and the formula is borrowed from St. Paul himself) that traditional truth was confided to the Church as a deposit which it would guard and faithfully transmit as it had received it without adding to it or taking anything away.

Tragically far too many people who call themselves Christians pretend to be followers of Christian tradition yet in their daily lives do the exact opposite of what Jesus would do which makes them Anti-Christ or against Jesus by their actions.

Christianity was introduced into Ukraine in 988 A.D. The flourishing pagan religion and traditions associated with it were too deeply rooted in the people to allow the Church to eradicate them completely.

Medieval Christians celebrated New Years on March 25, around the time of the vernal equinox, until the adoption of the Gregorian calendar in 1582.
It is not surprising, then, that Christian history has been punctuated throughout by millennial movements claiming the imminent end of the world, often based on the prophecies in the book of Revelations, also known as the Apocalypse.
One of the things that the rabbinic tradition has also stressed since the earliest times, in preparation for the Jewish New Year, is a type of active reflection which includes not just prayer and introspection, but even more importantly, daily practice of acts of loving-kindness amongst those in need.
