It's only fitting that I be the first to report the Koenigsegg CCR finally capturing the production car top speed record from the McLaren nearly 7 years after it set the 386.7kmh/240mph mark.
Yes, I am quite pleased that Koenigsegg upped the ante with the CCR and beat the Veyron to the mark.
Koenigsegg is a collection of stockholders, so not exactly the underdog, and they didn't out-engineer the Veyron, since that hasn't recorded any attempts yet.
