Harris recalls the Sonics were offering Christie very little money and when he caught wind to the bum deal he immediately jumped on the phone to try and track down Christie.
Harris brought Christie to the sports management firm that he was working with at the time, but Harris later decided it was best to take Christie and part ways with the company because he felt that they weren’t doing all that they could for his client.
Harris stated that his reason for leaving the firm was because their relationship focused only on the players.
