		Nicholas and his "reformed" equivalent, Father Christmas -- be ascribed to the stepping of a saint into the shoes of Woden, who, with his wife Berchta, descended on the nights between 25 December and 6 January, on a white horse to bless earth and men.

		Once covered entirely in prairie grasses, the Loess Hills were described by Lewis and Clark as “bald pated” during their expedition in 1804, as they traveled upriver beneath the bluffs in their keelboats.
		The Loess Hills are home to many prairie species, such as the regal fritillary and the ornate box turtle, which will disappear if the hills aren't protected.
		The coin, which commemorates the one hundredth anniversary of the Lewis and Clark expedition, is one of an estimated 60,000 produced in 1904 and 1905.
