  Christopher's Programs for Private Parties
CHRISTOPHER starts off with a solemn, spooky, candle-lit 13-minute slide, video, or powerpoint presentation about the efforts of legendary magician Harry Houdini to debunk psychics, spiritualists, and mediums (also smalls and larges...ahem), and his promise to contact his wife from beyond the grave, and her annual seances designed to contact him.
Once CHRISTOPHER is in contact with the world beyond, participants whisper the names of dead celebrities from the list, and CHRISTOPHER attempts to contact those individuals who, through him, actually speak to and interact with the participants.
After everyone is seated and the main course has been served, Lt. Columbo begins the Christopher and Co. LIVE act, entering on a "routine investigation", and then begins a short song which introduces the audience to Christopher's rapid-fire impressions.

deseretnews.com - Movie review: Highlander II: The Quickening | Deseret Morning News Web edition
Naturally, due to its ancillary success, "Highlander II" was inevitable — and here it is, again starring Christopher Lambert in the lead and Sean Connery in an extended cameo (for which he was no doubt handsomely paid).
The planet is even more bleak than Earth, especially with nasty Michael Ironside in charge, and Lambert and Connery fail in an attempted coup and find themselves sentenced to a fate worse than death — life on Earth.
In short, lots of action and wild stunts, lame comedy (Ironside's villain is so zany he must have watched Alan Rickman in "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves") and a story that makes no sense whatsoever.

Virginia Ironside - Help and Advice on a wide range of issues
Virginia Ironside's mother, Janey, was a leader of the 60s cultural revolution.
Having grown up in colonial India, Janey suffered a painful childhood separation fro her parents and grew to be obsessed with the notion of a ‘smart’ life.
She married dashing artist Christopher Ironside, but eking out a wartime rations ill-suited a woman whose idea of divine punishment was to ‘spend an eternity washing up.’ Dress-making soon filled the void, while her daughter Virginia endured a string of au pairs, embarrassing outfits and acute loneliness.

 Online Review London - Sylvia
The three-act ballet, Ashton's second full-length work after 'Cinderella', was only partially recorded in the Royal Ballet's film archive and until the discovery of 'primitive' (Newton's word) celluloid footage showing a 1965 rehearsal, reliance on dancers' memories and archival clips formed the basis of interpretation.
The production is a success in terms of sheer visual virtosity, from the dancers to the scenery (an Ironside pastiche that gives a nod to Poussin's blind Orion).
The Neo-Classical costume and set design give the production coherence but the overall integrity is compromised by the decision to use the three-act structure, with the concomitant sag in the middle revived only by smoke and special effects.

Last year, Christopher Newton, who served as a ballet master under Ashton, reconstructed “Sylvia” for the Royal.
The ballet demonstrates all the qualities for which Ashton, forty-seven years old when he made it, was already famous.
“Sylvia” borrows many conventions from the Paris Opera Ballet of the Second Empire—that was the company that produced the original “Sylvia” (1876)—and its ravishing sets and costumes, by the brothers Robin and Christopher Ironside, are even more faithful to that period: Beaux-Arts cloud banks, couturier togas.

A revival of Frederick Ashton’s Sylvia, with a score by Léo Delibes, will be performed for the first time tonight by the Royal Ballet in London.
The ballet has been restored to its original three-act version by Christopher Newton, a former ballet master under Ashton, the founding choreographer of the Royal Ballet.
Newton had to rely on filmed versions of the ballet, in addition to his own memory, in order to reconstruct the work, because Ashton did not use dance notation.

As someone who reviewed the ballet's first night at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, on September 3, 1952, and whose wife danced in it, I can vouch for the revival's almost unexpected authenticity.
The Royal Ballet's Christopher Newton has done an extraordinary job in piecing together fading videos and even faster fading dancer memories, patchworking the whole fabric together as seamlessly as designer Peter Farmer put together, with minimal necessary revisions, the original Second Empire designs by Robin and Christopher Ironside.
