Elizabeth M. Worrell of Bolivar, a dispatcher at the Ohio Highway Patrol’s New Philadelphia post, was honored Thursday for saving a man’s life while she was off duty.
Worrell said she had been certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation for 15 years and had renewed her certificate through the post last year.
Worrell was dispatcher of the year in 2000 and 2002.

Manejhae Worrell, 23, said her husband, Christopher Worrell, 30, was deployed to Iraq when his son was 6 weeks old and he had not seen the boy since, except for photos she sent via e-mail.
Worrell said she worried the 9-month-old would not remember his father.
Christopher held him to his chest and grabbed Justin's arm and said his child didn't look as delicate as he had when he left for Iraq.

Worrell explained that "there is further provided to an individual incarcerated over the age of eighteen educational opportunities based upon what needs and desires are necessary as determined by the guidance counselor.
Worrell's testimony, the court found that there are programs available within the juvenile system for behavioral problems such as A.R.'s.

Hiter Worrell, both of Virginia Beach, and seven grandchildren: Cameron Worrell, Christina Worrell, Chessy Worrell, Catze Worrell, Chrisea Worrell, Barron Worrell, and Elizabeth Worrell.
She was preceded in death by a son, E. Christopher Worrell, grandson Jason Worrell and brother W.C. ``Kit'' Carden.

To the surprise and apprehension of the youngest boys of St. Christopher’s School, the lower school was invaded by Indians and colonial children this past Friday during the third grade’s Colonial Day celebration.
Worrell was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Worrell; her son, Richard Worrell; her daughter, Ann Marie Worrell; her granddaughter, Dawn Worrell Chase; her brothers, Hersey, Aaron and Carl; and her sister, Virginia.
Worrell was a dedicated and faithful member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church, where services were conducted Oct. 16.
