During the late ‘80s Kottke went on to record a number of albums on the now-defunct Private label, yet as Roche points out in his liner notes, Kottke’s true legacy as an acoustic guitar master still lives in the grooves of his early recordings for Capitol and Chrysalis.
Filmed and recorded in the Summer of ‘92 the CD and DVD of Red Rocks bravely attempts a number of early Pinder-driven classics although without ruffling too many beaks, much better here are the more authentic sounding post-Pinder Moodies tracks mostly written and recorded by Justin Hayward and John Lodge.
Vanguard’s 2003 CD release of The Best Of Frost is actually a live album recorded in their native Detroit and presents a good snapshot of an unheralded rock legend who were hot live but still better in the studio.

During the 1994 digital transfer and eq session at Suma, Paul Hamann discovered that the second side of the Chrysalis vinyl release was distorted.
The DATAPANIK IN THE YEAR ZERO box set restored the album to its original form, using the vocal-less "Arabia" and the longer, rambling "Young Miles In The Basement." During the reconstruction process a jew's harp version of "Misery Goats" was discovered and substituted.

This record was issued only as a promotional item in a limited quantity of somewhere between 2000 and 3000 copies.
When D Gen left Chrysalis and signed with Columbia in 1995, the band bought back the rights to this album and it is now out of print (according to the band, the master tapes were tossed into the East River).
It should be noted that this record was only released on CD and cassette and that the vinyl copies which are floating around out there are bootlegs.

Also the two lines "Love's dying sin is just dust in the wind, I face the other side of no tomorrow" (just before the 3rd chorus) has been removed.
A third version of "Love Kills" is on the 2003 remastered CD-version as released by Chrysalis Records manufactured by EMI/Capitol Records.

The first release was by Chrysalis Records in 1990.
The front covers do not even resemble each other; the Chrysalis Records front cover is a very good original cover with a cartoon Janet, while the EMI Records front cover is a boring old Rocky Horror Show logo type thing.
In summary, the original Chrysalis Records release was much better produced but the fact that it is next to impossible to find will mean that you will unfortunately have to settle for the EMI Records release.

In 1969, EMI established a new subsidiary label, Harvest Records, which signed groups in the emerging progressive rock genre, including Pink Floyd.
The Sex Pistols were briefly signed to the label from October 8, 1976 to January 27, 1977 in a relationship that was fraught with controversy, and that had lasting repercussions for the history of the music industry.
Along with the estimated $20 million advance she received, this is the highest amount a record label has ever paid an artist for a single album.
